What is it? A steel cable lock for windows and doors of any kind. Locks with a key.
What does it do? It is fixed by screws to the window or door, and to the frame. It allows the window or door to be opened only up to a safe maximum gap, which is recommended at 10 cm (4 inches).
Why would I need it? Correctly installed, and locked, the Jackloc prevents windows, or balcony doors from opening more than 10 cm. Children, even tiny ones, or other vulnerable people, are unable to squeeze through this gap. Therefore this Jackloc helps prevent children and other vulnerable ones from falling out of windows, or from accessing and falling off balconies.
